3 PM Update: The cats out of the bag on who our "surprise celebrity" is with those who are going to be borrowing the campaign's bus for 6 weeks across the nation. We have $8.1k raised so far, almost there, help fill the Airstream's gas tank!

I rarely speak in absolutes when discussing texas holdem, but it is absolutely worth the study. Texas holdem is a people game played with cards, not a card game played by people, at least once you get out of the penny-ante level.

there are clearly problems with the security of online systems. there are real problems with our elections systems in general, such that Carter has said he wouldn't even consider monitoring elections here--too much chance for fraud, too much intimidation, too little public participation in selection of candidates, too much corporate influence...

Chili!Soft was NOT a "dot-com". We weren't even the "dot" in dot com, though we might have been the "c" in com. We were a server software company. My opponent's campaign decided to bash me early and call me a "dot-com washout just looking for a job". Well, this is about the toughest job this washout has ever tried to find. If I were looking for a job, I think it would be easier than this! Just not nearly as fulfilling.
