US Senate Candidate Crystle Encourages Opponent to Build Campaign Web Site November 18th, 2003, Lancaster, PA—Today US Senate Candidate from Pennsylvania Charlie Crystle encouraged Joe Hoeffel to look into getting a campaign web site. “I hear this internet thing is going to be big,” joked Crystle. The Crystle campaign has had both a static web site and a campaign web log since this summer, giving voters a chance both to learn more about Crystle and his views and interact with the candidate directly. “How is a Senate candidate going to lead us into the next technology revolution when he’s missed the last one? Nano-technology is going to have a huge impact on the world and our economy, and Pennsylvania is rather unprepared to take advantage of it. It’s a transformational technology—a replacement technology in some aspects and a trailblazing technology in others. But it needs a substantial amount of investment, planning, and leadership for our state and country to truly take full advantage of it. Meanwhile, Joe still doesn’t have his website up. The congressional site isn't interactive and isn't very informative about where he stands on a ton of positions.
