Food Stamp Software Impacting New York
My company, Mission Research, architected and developed software that helps social service agencies determine food stamp eligibility quickly and thoroughly. The analytical tools we provided give real insight into what's happening with New York City's food stamp problem: over 750,000 who are eligibile are not getting their stamps. Our software sheds light on the problem. Today, the New York Daily News talked about the problems the software is uncovering. I'm proud of our team and the United Way agencies in New York who worked with us to improve the systematic injustices around the critical issue of hunger.
