Judy Wicks & the White Dog Cafe

Last night I attended a speech by Judy Wicks over at F&M. Wicks is the owner of the White Dog Cafe, a great organic restaurant in Philly and the center of all things progressive in SouthEast PA. She's also the founder of Livingeconomies.com, BALLE.org, and the Social Venture Institute.

Judy talked about socially responsible business, the importance of buying from local businesses and farms, and the impact of our personal spending decisions. I find it very interesting--you might too.

I've been involved in studying the specialty foods, organic, sustainable agricultural sector from an operational, political and cultural point of view.
Can anyone send me a solid analysis of the role of Whole Foods Markets, INC. as a steamroller that sprinkles organic chips over its competitors.
