Wal-Mart: Women File Class Action Lawsuit
This is great news! It gives the women who work at Wal-Mart a fighting chance to get the same treatment as their male counterparts. Women make up something like 70% of Wal-Mart's workforce but less than 35% of the management. There's a list of other egregious behavior the suit is attempting to stop or correct. It als gives Wal-Mart the opportunity to learn a bit about social justice. They'll try to settle, but I'm guessing the 1.6 million person class action suit will reach the end of the trial.
